Extra Value MDF

I have been considering the use of some coloured MDF to produce some of my own work recentley, I found this collection of furniture when doing some research. South Korean designer Seung-Yong Song exhibited at 100% Design back in 2012. Unfortunately I managed to miss his 'Dami' collection of furniture at the show.

Note to self. Good photography is essential. I really like the composition of the pieces above, also the use of a prop to give a sense of scale and add a little life.

The description below is my interpretation of text taken from Seung-Yong Song website:

The Dami series consists of basket forms and lids, available for different and various usage depending on form and size. The structures have the same visual beauty of traditional Korean baskets, yet are also sturdy and durable. The collection is manufactured from a eco-friendly material called Valchromat where parts are CNC profiled before interlocking together.
